Fall, she has arrived

LOVE this time of year! My leaf pictures are still sitting on the camera, waiting to be uploaded - story of my life!

GJ is such a beautiful area - I looked at both Fort Lewis and Western State for college (I ended up in WY.)

Did you get snow over the weekend? We came very close on Sunday with a little sleet. I am not ready for parkas and shovels!

Thanks for sharing!

Driving: No snow here yet! With it being a high desert area, they say we don't get as much snow as most of Colorado. However, our backyard doesn't get a lot of full sun and has a HUGE slope. I'm told we're the neighborhood sledding hill....lol I'll find out soon enough, I guess!

Hor-gal: I didn't take a chance, with the game on at 8:15 last night. So, I called at about 7:20 :o) He chatted a lot about basketball, when he'd see his younger son again, and needing to take a trip to San Diego soon.

Why San Diego? Well, he's still pretty close to his former son-in-law, who still keeps in contact with daughter. SIL is a Marine and they just heard he was severely wounded in Iraq. He's on his way to the hospital at Camp Pendleton. He's really down (as you can imagine) and New Fella thinks he can help.

I'm going to suggest they go the first weekend in November. When I have to be in Utah!
