We arrived at the Marriott City Center is very impressive, with elegant marble throughout. My daughter has never stayed anywhere like this. We went through the revolving doors and stood in the lobby. Her eyes went wide and she looked around her in astonishment. "Uhm, Mom? Have I told you how much I love you lately?" Then she went giddy when a bellhop took her bags.
The weekend was one moving moment to another for her. Watching her delight in everything was truly inspirational and refreshing to me.
Her camera was a constant companion. I'm going to include some of her pictures here, for you all to enjoy, too. Well, I hope you do! I've left them without captions, just so you can see what she saw, through her unique eye.

I guess I'll just have to wait for alzimers to set it.
The pictures look great a nd there is nothing more danting than a catherdral.
I have seen many especially in Quebec Cite where they have a few that are 500 years old and almost touch the sky.
I'd love to see that, Walker! I sooo need to get out more. I've been out of the country twice - an afternoon in Vancouver and a visit to a Juarez bakery. That's it!
To see something that old would be so amazing.... I love history! How wonderful!

I am glad you had a nice time with her. Moms and daughters need that. How are things with Ranger? Did you go to Vegas yet??
I agree, about Mom and Daughter time! And Ranger is okay....things are still unsettled and that's worrisome. Vegas is in July, and we are really looking forward to it.
