So others may learn from my mistakes....

Do NOT ever, under any circumstances, consume an entire "family size" box of jalapeno and cream cheese Poppers all by yourself. At once.

The gastronomical indignities are just not worth it.

And that's coming from someone with no one around to be humiliated in front of.

But sometimes these kinds of things just happen. I don't know why, they just do.

Lately I've been eating entire cocktail shrimp trays with heavy horseradish cocktail sauce. I keep saying I'm going to stop, because the digestive tract is more or less in total rebeillion, but...

You made me laugh out loud! Because I can completely sympathize.

I have my own close, personal relationship with all things horseradish, especially in cocktail sauces. No, really. Ever tried it on eggs?

(I'm not kidding. I'm a complete freak.)

So, I understand your addiction. Poppers, shrimp, cocktail sauce....not pretty facts, but love us as we are, right?

Horseradish suffices quite well when I'm not having wasabi with sushi. I've had to back away from sushi because of Type II diabetes, dammit, so shrimp with the hot cocktail sauce has to do for now.

I didn't know sushi was bad for diabetics. Interesting!

But I can't think of a time when shrimpies and hot cocktail sauce *wouldn't* do! ;o)

All that rice is far too many carbs. I could do all the sashimi I want, but I have to limit the rice intake.

Ah! That makes sense!

I've never tried sushi. Maybe that's an adventure I need to undertake soon!

With sushi places on 50th and 82nd and you never tried sushi before you left Lubbock?
