According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department....

(And I quote, from the newspaper's police blotter)

"Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of 30 1/4 Road on a report that a juvenile boy was getting bad grades and not listening to his parents. Deputies advised everyone on possible solutions."

His folks called 911 for this.

And the Sheriff's department really responded.

And the paper really printed it.

You just gotta love small town life.

Sounds like some newspaper had a very slow day.

Oh god, you know I'd say "how embarrasing" but for some reason I doubt those people care. Yeesh! :P

Ever day is a slow news day here! For the most part. I love that.

Gringa, at least they didn't name who it was! Can you just see the harassment that kid would get?

Oh how I remember those let's-drag-out-the-homework-and-consume-the-life-of-the-family nights in middle school. I can recall wishing I could have called the police myself a few times. Just kidding! (About calling the police, not the interminable homework.)

Hope you're doing great, Blogget.
